Just installed cr-200hd, seems ok.

Yesterday some ahole reversed bang in my car, bumper got scratches and number plate is almost broken in half :s22:. not sure how much is damage behind number plate :(.

Cost me quite a bit around 530 with installation and directly connected with battery.

I put front and rear so that I can capture the person zoom from behind, dangerously and cut into my lane, so that I can claim them with both videos. ;)

Just an explanation why I want the rear one. Especially when cars try to overtake you to exit, or just want to be infront of you.

It helps.

good point, never tot of installing it at the rear. i got a china made supposedly HD but i can't see the darn number from the side as the car passed by and even when the car is directly in front of you but at 1 car dist away. the only time you can see the number clearly is there is no dist in between.

but just to side track a bit, why would a driver want to dangerously zoom from behind and cut into yr lane in the first plc? i am not angelic driver myself nor do i consider myself as one of those hooligan type. but there were occassions that i do that stunt. (ie, zoom from behind and cut into the lane) but the typical situation when i do that was when driver is hogging 1st lane and no matter what i tried, horn, highbeam refused to move his arse off the first lane.

just concerned bcos then i run the risk of being video clip by you next time! if i zoomed by you and cut into yr lane. :s13:

also, i read about the heating issues wif BV and other better brands.. actually beside the just the heating, are there any risk implication or quality issues resulted from the heating? thks.

I installed one of this with dual camera. Just plug n play, normal cigarette lighter ...

dvr.vshub-partner.com

Cheaper than most of those mentioned here, quality of video is also acceptable imo.
