I have checked LSBF Simi not teaching P2, any ideal on F8 Owen from LSBF?

Wow how come Sami never teach p2 already... He was still teaching for June 12 exams. I have never took Owen class before, nor do I have friends who took his audit class before. . So no comments on this one. And also because he surfs this forum as well. Haha!

Oh sorry see wrongly, Sami still got teach p2, btw do you have any ideal how is p2 & p3 look like ? both are calculation base? like F7 & F9 ?

P3 is very theory based with only 1 or 2 chapters on simple calculation like ratios and some of the stuff u learn in f5.

P2 pretty much like f7, first qn is do consol in soci or sofp or cash flow. The rest will be based on frs issues mostly writing.

Ap Chee is from SAA. P3 can try Andy tan (Kaplan) or Marty (ftms)

I guess no choice ah take p1 p2 n p3. I got some friends that took that Combi and clear all 3 first time.

Is it true that you cant take the optional papers before passing P1-P3? Not even if you take them concurrently?

I find that his audit notes are all over the place... not sure leh....
P1 like lack of excellent lecturers?

I suggest taking for p1 and p3. there are small similarity between topics between both papers.

you can't take optional papers unless you finish your core papers. not even if you attempted them before.
Passed P2 but failed P1 last exam. tried putting through P3 and one optional paper but the system rejected my request. hope this help.

F1 go for yuen yuen ( kaplan) humorous and passionate teacher. F1 should be able to self study basically is all theory. If you have a good command in english it will help you.

Called them.. Apparently they dont issue F level certificate if we clear our last F paper in dec 2011 exam ._. kinda pissed cos i was only left with law that sitting zzz

They will issue F and P certificates together wef dec 2011 exam sitting which i dont get the point cos what we need is the F certificate to find job, yet they said we can print out from the portal which i cant lol.. And i dont see the point in getting both F and P certificates together when we are already acca associates upon conpletion

Is F4 manageable enough to self-study? It seems like it's pure theory, I'm thinking of signing up for F5 or F6 then self-study F4.
