Are you converting one room into wardrobe or using the masterbed room? I have no idea why they design BT's living room space to be more cramped compared to MT. If its to give MT the premium outlook, I think its bullcrap logic - premium is to offer something better than normal standard, not worsening the standard such that the norm can be deem premium standard.

Its like our standard of living is lowered, while those who can pay for preimum are paying for what is the norm or expected.

No no. I think i got her (i hope i'm rite) idea. She wants to move the MR door to "include" the next door common room "into" the master room as a huge walk in wardrobe.... LOL

i think im super slow, but i just realized i could easily do up a walk in wardrobe for any 4r units in bendemeer without having the hassle to whack any walls ! can also ease me the trouble for converting it back to bedroom in future as i dont need to "fix the wall back". now im really leeming towards bendemeer.

sorry i think i am even slower than you cos i dun understand what you are trying to say.

why do you need to whack any wall just to install a wardrobe? i thot we can customise the size according what the master bedroom is designed to be?

Can any kind soul advise me that whether it is worthwhile to spend that additional 10% to go for premium? Or spend 10% lesser to go for just standard will do?

According to HDB webpage, the "Typical price" difference is 15k.

I went to HDB hub to check the differences. Premium ones normally have bigger windows, and timber flooring in BRs. Kitchen and WR use premium tiles. Premium flats floor plan is also better based on observation. Standard flat Master BR washroom tiles are good but common room one is v plain and boring.

If you compare the 3D models you'll find some feature differences in the facilities too. E.g. MT has v premium design for its connectors between blocks and carpark. But this may not be valued by everyone. :)

Hope this helps.

For premium BTO's, even the landscaping very much better.

Full height windows are like by most people, wonder why B/Light do not come with those. Such a pity, otherwise can have even better views.

It simply comes comes MT vs BL. If you already analysed what you want from a homes, the choice is simple. I think MT and BL caters to two different segments. Family environment vs Jalan Besar environment, near school or not, noisy or not..... etc...etc

Be patient, maybe your MyHDB account will be updated tomorrow. Which side and stack are you choosing?

After long battles of the wits with my hubby, we are inching more and more towards MT, mainly for "residential" atmosphere compared to Jalan Besar (too busy) atmosphere of BL. My personal favorite is 272 but my hubby prefers 240.... will have to see who gets the final say.

The showflat is only opened during office hour. 3D model can be seen 7 days a week, up to 10pm.

Whether floor or door option is worth the extra few k depend on whether u like it or not. Comparing the same product from outside prices, hdb about 20% cheaper.

As someone pointed out, the layout of the living room is also different :s27:
