After long battles of the wits with my hubby, we are inching more and more towards MT, mainly for "residential" atmosphere compared to Jalan Besar (too busy) atmosphere of BL. My personal favorite is 272 but my hubby prefers 240.... will have to see who gets the final say.

I see. We prefer BL because it is nearer to the main road and to the hawker centre. I can't cook, so being near food places will be better for my hubby. :s13:

the row of shophouses in front of bendemeer light has alot of nightspots with transvestites coming and going. don't just site visit during the day. make sure you go at night too to get a full picture of the environment. my fiancee and i believe the market will crash within 2 years. so we are dropping out of this.

i just saw an old uncle propositioning a tranny last night. i live near the area if case you are wondering.

just to be impartial, mcnair towers also has a huge disadvantage if you are considering the view. they give full windows but the view is obstructed all round. the only good units with unobstructed view will be blocked eventually by the high rise buildings in the URA master plan. you can take the lift up the surrounding blocks to see for yourself. don't just take my word for it.

If both sites are so bad, why did you waste time and money to ballot?

I'm sure everyone here knows that the market will crash, maybe it might happen this year even. It will affect everyone in this island, not just the buyers of these 2 sites.

the market will crash within 2 years but you gonna wait 5 years for it to be built and another 5 years in order to sell. During that time, the property prices may have gone up c'mon.

Property market will go up and down but Singapore's property prices will not drop too much based on a simple logic that this island has limited land and many foreigners are rushing in to gain a foothold due to its prosperity.

Hello Everyone,

I have a problem here.

I like Blk 109 in BL but the problem is, the house itself is facing the cross traffic junction between Bendemeer Road and Lavender Street.

In feng shui, this is very bad luck as the occupiers of the flat units will be prone to traffic accidents.

Does any of you know of any special method or ways to overcome this? Does it mean I cannot go for Blk 109 BL anymore?

Everyone has their own thinking and plans. Some just want to make it a "HOME", others will treat it's an investment. When property goes up, when u buy other units also will be expensive. If the market crash or not, still you need a roof to live in as well.

Talking about KW. given 4R is 888. So kinda of confuse, if people are having Q 1000plus in early sept. Mine is 7** but late sept. *confusing* then Q number is useless? Lol

My queue no is 340+/888 for KW, selection date is 26 Aug. You check properly first whether those who are talking about Q1000+ are really from the same area or not. This thread is MAY BTO, not solely KW bto.

Oh really? I have set my sight on that block too, what is your queue no ? I think it will be snapped up fast.

Which is Blk 109? There's only 10A, 10B and 10C?

It's 10A and the block is 109.

Sad lor... facing so nice but go and face the cross traffic junction also. :(:(:(

It will be bad for the next generation also.

Those who studies Feng Shui will understand what I say.
