For this I just felt that we needed to adjust the sensitivity of the tab. I will need to verify this again with the latest software that we will receive, tomorrow we will start testing it.

just experienced problem shutting down the device.

apparently i held the power button for > 10 secs and there wasn't even a Power Off notification.

but the system still power down afterwards.

First of all sorry for any inconvenience regarding the delivery. We uses two private courier to deliver the Tablet according to the schedule date that we confirmed to each of you at the time we called. Sad to say that in some cases it is already out of our control if the delivery was delayed or moved by the courier company itself, the courier never inform us about it that is why you never hear any update from us regarding such issues. We can only assure you that the collection is been arranged and pick up by the courier at the proper time.

Regarding the unit shutting down automatically, we apologize from what you have experienced. Please give me some time to check this on my part to really verify what had caused the problem, for now we can treat it as a bug.

For those who are affected by this, please let me know:
-What is the percentage level of the battery before it shuts down
-Is the issue repeatable, always or once in a while.
-Help me know what are you doing or running when it shut down.

I will make this case as a priority and check with our developers in order to give you a concrete answer and a solution as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Feedback: Unknown (It could be fully charge, around 80%, less then 50%, less then 30%), and after shutdown, cannot power ON normally by pressing the power button, it require AC to boot up.

-Is the issue repeatable, always or once in a while.
Feedback: Yes, this issue repeat randomly, that End user could not know when the devices is fully shutdown automatic. Therefore it's an random shutdown issue, so far we heard from different users on their device experience. Each of us is different but yet still share the same bug issue.

So far we can see the following review:
1) Fully charge more then 8hours (auto shutdown)
2) battery left 30%~70% (auto shutdown)
3) fully charge as per device display (Auto shutdown)
4) End user press sleep mode + Battery fully charge, no background program running (Auto shutdown unknowingly)


-Help me know what are you doing or running when it shut down.
Beside all this, the main factor to report was after it's auto shutdown, the tab7 need the AC power to power up again, else by normal power ON, nothing will execute.

Last but not to miss out, was the touchscreen issue on all side, as it will randomly output alpha or numeric that we did not press (e.g we want 1,2,3 but output shows 0,P,O,7) it's like out of sync on user finger touch.

This touchscreen issue happen in:
Typing in Email, Browser, Games login
Home screen and inside apps screen
*Inside "Setting" also will have this issue.

Overall: it's happen randomly at all areas of the 7" screen itself.

**For the firmware ACR receive, how would End user get this update ? Via AC Ryan forum? or ?? And Jelly bean is coming out soon, can this Tab 7 been upgraded to Jelly bean?
Pls advice.

For my TAB 7,

Before charge, keep auto-off (3 times in Saturday, only can on back with AC)
After charge for 10 hours, auto-off not happening until today (since Saturday)

I personally think that it is a battery issue instead of firmware issue.

What I dislike about this device is when switching apps or rotate the screen orientation, it will not responding for a few seconds.
I understand about the performance of this device is limited due to its specification. But if this device is able to play a HD video smoothly, I doubt that the laggy issue can be resolved.

SOME SERIOUS PROBLEMS:

• Sometimes sound coming out from the back of the Tablet (feels like it's going to explode anytime) when I try to on it.

• It keeps hanging every 10 minutes. And I got to re-boot the tablet again and again. Occasionally, the touch sensor goes off.

• The keyboard goes crazy whenever use and charge concurrently.

the touch sensitive could due to the screen protector. just install assistant and voice reg apps, this software is crazy funny.
can not expect more with a tablet with this money.

If the problem is with the firmware, then all the sets should be getting the same problem ? So I wonder, any lucky fella here not hit with some of these problems, esp the autoshutdown problem which seems to hit a number of people, the touch screen problem ?

The touch screen problem seems only to occur when "used" while charging.
I did a little experiment with my S2 while charging, i try "draw something" on it while charging, it seems that the drawing appears to be slightly "off sync" with my touches too..

So i guess it might be a common problem, or one that is fixable. Hopefully after a firmware upgrade, it might resolve this issue... if it doesn't, then this device seems really *ahem*

Do you have a good wireless connection? Please note that some youtube video are not meant to play on the tablet. Can you give us a link and we will try on our set?

Hi everyone, the changing in the touch sensitivity of the panel while charging is most likely cause by the firmware. Please rest assured that this will be improved. The current existing firmware version 1.0.1 mostly had increase in this aspect but compare to the previous 1.0.0 it will be just fine. Currently using both firmware for comparison.
