Hi everyone, the changing in the touch sensitivity of the panel while charging is most likely cause by the firmware. Please rest assured that this will be improved. The current existing firmware version 1.0.1 mostly had increase in this aspect but compare to the previous 1.0.0 it will be just fine. Currently using both firmware for comparison.

Can you provide us a video on the latest firmware that you have mention which targeted to resolve the touch sensitivity ?
And when will the firmware be release ? And how do we update to this firmware ? :s11:

Screen issue?

Have just received the Tab 7 via online ordering. Upon power on the tab, i observed that the top and bottom left corners of the screen is unusually brighter. Is this a screen fault? or there's a way to degauss the display?

I've got this problem as well... i believe its most likely cause by the pressure of the screw that is used to screw the LCD panel to the mainboard. Haven found a workaround yet...

Hi All,

We confirm that the tablet sensitivity issue when charging is caused by the current firmware version 1.0.1 that we have. Regarding the shutting down issue, our developers are closely monitoring this. For now a seperate firmware was sent to us to test, personally I can say that it did help and there is a big improvement in the battery life after we used it.

Please give us more time to finalize the next firmware version which will fix these issues. We will try to push it to be available before the week end. Sorry for all the inconvenience caused.

Hi,

What about the screen issue (post ##342)? Is it a manufacture defect?
How should we proceed? I have just received the item today and have yet to
register for the warranty. Are we entitle for a 1 to 1 exchange?

just sharing my thoughts with you:

a. AC Ryan is very good in the media sector, therefore i wasn't surprise that this tablet can play HD movie very well

b. Unfortunately this is their first tablet. whereas company like samsung and apple is longer in the tablet industry. therefore AC ryan might get better with their 2nd tablet.

Would the firmware update wipe the tablet? Anyone tried using App2SD? Dont seem to work for me as the internal storage is named SDcard as well. Moving the installation only moves it from 1 partition to another of the internal storage.. not the physical card itself.

I think after charging a several times, it seems that the auto shutdown doesn't occur anymore. Anyone still experiencing the same issue after a few days?
