Hi,

What about the screen issue (post ##342)? Is it a manufacture defect?
How should we proceed? I have just received the item today and have yet to
register for the warranty. Are we entitle for a 1 to 1 exchange?

I got my set last nite (collected from post office) and battery was totally flat. I need to plug into AC to charge.

During charging, I played around and did not encounter any auto shutdown. Will go home to try again tonite when it is fully charged.

I think after charging a several times, it seems that the auto shutdown doesn't occur anymore. Anyone still experiencing the same issue after a few days?

Lithium batteries should not go flat. Discharging li batteries till zero will shorten the lifespan.

Can anybody use their bluetooth, i cant on mine, tablet doesnt allow me to?

Bluetooth suport is currently not yet enabled on the existing firmware, but we will have it definitely in our future and hopefully on the next firmware release. Please note that you still need to use a BT adapter in using this feature

Can anybody use their flash drive to connect to the USB port, i have tried several thumb dive and it doesnt read.

We confirm that it can read a USB thumb drive and even a portable Hdd. What type of file system you have on your drive? You can also do a disk check on your drive as sometimes it will prevent to be detected when it do have an error.

Can anyone use their 3G dongle to connect to the internet. I plug mine to the USB port but cant search for the required network indicated in the manual.

Quote from my colleague under ACRyan Forum: If it is a Wi-Fi dongle there is no need to do so as the Tab already comes with a built in Wireless antenna that you can use to connect to your wireless network. If it is a USB modem, normally it will do auto connection after enabling it under settings. You can try to check it under the Tab settings ->Data Usage and turn on Mobile data.

Please note that not all USB modem will be supported. We will have a list of supported model soon and post it here.

Update on flash drive to USB port issue

used my wife's flash drive and it works.

Tried her ext hdd and it works.

Sad... my thumb drive not certified ok

Alamak the next thing i am going to predict is that the 3G dongle can only use the ones from AC RYAN.

We are currently using a 3G modem from the two service provider and it works

During the show, they told me 3G dongle - yes, can be used with the set.

It can...the sets at the IT Show had 3G dongles plugged in and in usage. Huawei chipsets supported iirc.

i tried using m1 dongle E1820 but it doesnt work. mobile data is set to on. Could it be M1 dongle cant be used on this set?

i have found that the tablet discharges at a fast rate although i just leave it one side doing nothing. about 2minutes 18 seconds for 1% drop. which i think will last 4 hours... but that is if i am doing nothing on the tablet.

another thing to highlight is that at the corner near the micro sd card your hand will feel warm when you touch the back. Can other users confirm is it the same for all or is it just me>>

Let them fix all the bugs first

Before you buy anything from Ac Ryan.

They advertised alot of nice things regarding their Veolo product, but since january 2012 they have not fixed a single bug. They claim that they are testing android 4.0 so they can't spend any time fixing existing bugs.

Veolo was to say the least an alpha product, and reading in this and in the Ac Ryan forum they are repeating the story letting the customers take the fall when the product fails.

Understand from ACR that the casing that are selling outside does not fix to this tab7. Currently ACR is pending for creating their own casing/cover for this tab7.

in the mean while, suggestion is too buy those bigger pouch tt can fit tis 7" tab7 inside.
