Opennet installation point fixed on 13th Aug.

Do i make appointment to sign up with fibre isp provider 2 weeks before the 3 weeks over?
In my case I had my TP installed on 31 Jul during the free roll-out period which ended on 11 Aug. When I check on 14 Aug with the Opennet website, it confirmed that my unit (condo) was covered.

I have already upgraded to fiber from my adsl account with Singnet on 30 Jul. Normally they don't register fiber account until TP is confirm installed. But in my case they accepted my application because I had a direct mailer promotion which expired on 31 Jul. Now I just need to arrange an appointment for them to fix up the ONT and the RG.

Your residential premise is tentatively scheduled for optical fibre network installation after June 2012. If you have yet to hear from us by end 2012, please be assured that you will still enjoy the first time free installation by signing up for fibre broadband services with your preferred retail service provider.

guys, anyone one around when then come r??

$10 cheaper than published rate for Express 100Mbps and $13 less for 150Mpbs (both for data and digital line, no Mio). I opted to retain analogue, merged analogue and broadband into one a/c (previously under two different names). No installation & registration charges, no admin charge for change of a/c name. Everything free except for the monthly subscription.

use your room phone to plug into the living room socket n see if it work......or plug your living room phone into your room socket to test if the phone is ok.

Tired with different phones. All sockets ok except the ones in the living room which is beside the tp. Just moved living room phone to kitchen. Anyone know what will happen if I call them?

I had wanted to install the TP near the bedrooms instead of the standard location in the living room. However, the contractors were reluctant and gave examples of how the other *** were rejected by the ISPs subsequently when installed in "weird locations "and they had to relocate.

I gave in to their suggestion and installed in the living room instead. I am now regretting it, cos it'd be super troublesome to get LAN into the bedrooms now. :(

Think I'll hold off FO as long as I can. sigh.

Already installed TP Point on 13th Aug. the wait is 3 weeks or 4 weeks? i already submit my fibre application to fibre isp liao.,,,,,,,

OpenNet is in the midst of deploying the Next Gen NBN to your building.

If you already have an optical fibre termination box installed in your home, please note that it is currently undergoing technical and backend network checks. Please check back on the status in 4 weeks' time. Thank you for your understanding.

I emailed OpenNet to ask them how they would put the TP in the utility closet since HDB has wired up a patch panel in there for structured data cabling.

They said they are unable to assist as it depends on the contractor who installs. So you mean those guys in purple shirts are sub contractors and not OpenNet staff?
