Need help here. Macro or micro. Which subject is easier to study and score well in exam. Also which lecturers is the best to take for the above 2 subjects and also IM and CF

There is no such thing as easy. Only thing I can say is Micro is more mathematical than Macro and you need to have a good basic foundation for Macro. There are people who says this yr Micro paper is easy, but end up having Macro has the higher score. I have equal marks for both. So you decide which one is more suited for you based on your interest and learning style.

Micro go for Mark Harris, Macro go for Dr. Seet (if not Dr. Zhang or Clare Kon).

Hi everyone,

I am in a delima as i have problem choosing my modules. Final year aiming to score but also thinking about long run

1)MA ( confirmed )

2)FM or CF ( not sure but i know FM is easier and CF is hard, but CF would be useful if i want to branch out )

3)Micro ( did no chose ME cause i do not like the lecturer teaching style and too many equations which looks kinda confusing. Micro looks like the traditional econs i have learn in A levels )

4) Marketing/ LBO/ Ebiz/HRM ( i know chosing marketing is crazy but i have interest in doing marketing or should i chose? )

Help please:s11:

Hi all,

would like to ask is HRM a difficult mod? it seem to have some negative reviews on it. Currently, im have decided to take ESAP, MSM, Ebiz and so im left with 1 more module to select.

so should i take HRM or MM? heard that mm is quite a tough module.

Need help pls! many thanks!

Personally I feel that we should not be too complacent just becuz it is MSM, just study hard for the quantitative chapters and make sure u study the theory(including the diagrams).
Thanks! :D Yeah, that's why trying to seek advise from seniors who took it before. :) Are there a lot of things to memorize for MSM? Like equations and stuff? Is it more like Maths or Stats?

fwah finally part 5 liao :s13::s13:

moi almost smack my bro head when he say he want to take enf
Why leh? EF not good? :s11:

Are you strong in essay writing? There's quite a handful of readings to be done for HRM but you should be fine if you do them all. For MM, if you plan to take it, you must be strong and have an interest in maths.

There are a few equations that u have to know it by heart but as compared to what you have to memorise for the 1 compulsory theory qns, its peanuts. haha. I think I used like 12 -14 pages just on 1 theory qns.

din take ME cant compare the 2 for u. Yes MM is differentiation, integration, stats, sets, probabilities that kind of thing. Flip the subject guide if u not sure

MSM has no stats. Only compulsory theory question need to memorise, the rest are all simple maths

HRM is not THAT difficult imho, just that the early days are super boring, the theories and more theories!! ESAP and eBIZ are qualitative, so u might want to re-consider about taking HRM cos it's heavy on memory space
