The ethnic quota is finally out! I realised that most of the units in BLK 208A are priced higher than 208B even though both are on the same level. Could it be because 208A is nearer to the bus stop & eating house?

I don understand why #121 on 3rd & 4th storey are priced $8k more expensive than their neighbour #123? Can someone enlightens me? What disadvantages i could have overlooked for #123. Cos i thought #123 is better than #121 because of no afternoon sun??

I have the same question too! I noticed it on level 38. Blk208A is higher than 208B. I'm thinking of getting one of the #123 units, and can't think of anything that could affect the pricing factor. :s22:

WwwwQ, have you selected yours yet?

edit: Just visited the HDB website and noticed that almost all the #xx-117 units are taken up already. What is it that's the draw?

I haven't select, still got 2 weeks

The main draw is the block is facing south and high floor units might have sea view. 117 is more popular than 119 because of no afternoon sun. Whereas 208B is likely to face another high rise development in future thus no view even if u take high floor

Wah so lucky your Q no.! My friend had the same scenario, they applied 1st time for punggol last year, and their Q no. was quite good, 3+. But due to some issues they rejected it and applied 2nd time for this july bto and the Q no. was totally out of range!

So, I would advise THINK TWICE! However, getting a house is a lifelong investment and a huge one so do consider thoroughly. Take into considerations like your work location, living near parents, convenience...

Anyway, I lived in telok blangah for 8 years and moved to tampines for the past 20 years. Am very familiar to tampines area, however this bto I chose to get BM. Actually I still prefer BM estate to tampines, find it more quiet and relax and not so crowded. Also location wise, its nearer to city so more convenient.

Just my 2 cents worth. :D

Hi all,
Just to check n heel some advise from you guys. I gotten a good queue no. #5+ of BM(TBH) for selection on 24sept. If i would reject tis selection and ballot on sept tamp bto, most probably will they issue me a more lousy queue no.? Did any one reject the first time n second chance ballot got a better queue no.? Cos from what i see sept tamp bto only 300+ unit. So i am worried i will drop the second chance if my queue no. is lousy.

Thou my parent is staying at tamp nearby too and i have been living in tamp for pass 20yrs. Am worried for the transport problem in BM. Quite troublsome, thou my SO work place is very near. But some how i still feel tt its more secure to live in places i m fAmiliar with.
Any advice if i should still go for BM or tamp?

Hope u guys can give some comment...
Thanks

As i am very used to all the amenities/shopping malls around tamp, near work place and parents. Therefore i am worried i can't adapt.

Does your friend still continue balloting? Does the queue no. still as bad?

Appreciated your advise... Will still do some consideration before i make my final decision.. :)

Balloting is all about luck. If a person strike toto this week, and he continues to buy again next week, who's to say he won't strike again ?
