According to the reviewer,

"If you are using it as a primary drive or it's not in a fresh out of the box state that could be the reason why the drive is slower. Also they runs secure erase between benchmark tests. "

Hope your query is clear now

Thanks for the replies.
Ran it through a few sessions of gaming yesterday, couldn't feel any difference against my old SSD, not bad afterall.

Correct if I'm wrong, I believe most review websites run the SSD as secondary drives for benchmarking.

When you run benchmark on OS drive, sometimes background services may have slight impact on the scores.

Also Sandforce is supposedly more aggressive than other controllers when it comes to GC.

Good to know that the product is performing well and meeting your expectations... this is indeed a best offering from Strontium

Sounds reasonable, on hindsight I should have done that, but probably wasn't expecting much difference since SSDs are unlike rotational media.

Can we join up 2 or more SSDs in Windows 8 to form the C drive?

Anyone tried the RAID support for SSDs in series 7 motherboards? I considering creating a pure SSD video editing rig. Anyone here with the experience to share?

Guys,

Currently i am using a hdd as my main drive, but I will be getting my SSD tomorrow and I intend to use my ssd as my main drive while leaving my HDD OS intact in case my SSD OS fails.

If I were to connect both to my mobo, what will happen? How do i make my SSD boot by default and not my HDD? Also are there any pre windows installation setup for my SSD? I read somewhere that must enable trim, ARHC or something right?

Thanks
