It's hard to believe that they will re-ballot, opening the floodgate for major complaints.

I feel that its not about the testing system Q number issue.. but more on enforcing transparency on how they issue the balloting number...
Like tot, people can attend the event when drawing the weekly toto numbers..
Having such a system for HDB balloting system will enable transparency and for those who get 'bad' Q number will feel more comfortable than just seeing their results on website.
This will also prevent any "cheating' ot given special privileges to "unknown' people.....
It's actually a good idea if tomorrow the number really changed.
Imagine those with one digit queue no become four digits.
Can make a good headline at Yahoo News.
I think the person will be damn suay lor...
yup... the balloting system is crap... there is no transparency from this government at all
hopefully that person will make a real din about it and not lan lan suck thumb keep quiet

Putting aside on lack of transparency on balloting system, the selling price of each unit is also not transparency in terms of cost price vs selling price.
Base on my understanding, as land is own by singapore (a country) which should not have a land cost if use under public housing estate, the cost of building a unit not block is about SGD 30k - SGD 50k (if i am not wrong). And the selling price is way way above the cost price.
Thus, it is very unreasonable for us, singaporean to pay at high prices. The system should revieve details of cost of build a unit with details supporting documents so as to allow residents to know what they are paying for. (This is base on common understanding).

yeah me too..lol.
I doubt it is of any use. Garmen will just pass this off as "noise" n come up with some lame excuses.
Really disappointed with the way they handled the situation. So many applicants n they actually did the "test run" on the real thing which can be viewed by all of us! Don't know if I can sleep well tonight, if I'm getting any at all.
