Note 2 battery life

As an ex-apple iph user, i would say no other battery beats apple batt yet. I notice my Note2 battery life is very erratic also. Fully charged at 11pm. Then wake up morning 8am. Batt shows 88% some day. Some day shows 97%. Not because of settings also, i keep all settings the same. Some day use drop so fast. Some day stay very strong even with the same pattern of usage.

Wish Apple make battery and sell for all the phones.

err... apple's battery is not made by apple.. most (if not all) their hardware component is not by them..mainly from samsung, LG etc etc.. its the software that make their battery life "good".


Anyway, my batt life's been not bad for a day 1 note 2. 11am till now, been playing some games, playing some music and always replying SMS/Whatsapp.. still have 63% left. pretty awesome i should say.

That's strange. I've always been an iphone user. Just switched to note 2 about 2 weeks back and I must say the batt life is fantastic. Iphone can never match up to it. In fact I feel iphone battery life is the worst. Can never last a complete 24 hours without charging in between.

Note 2 has been good so far. Lasts a complete 24 hours and beyond with a full charge.

It's user problem then...... FYI, open up Task Manager. The last tab shows some good info about conserving battery on an android phone.

When I was using iPhone I have to charge at least twice a day.. Ever since I change to note 2 I charge every 2 days once only..

When I was using iPhone I have to charge at least twice a day.. Ever since I change to note 2 I charge every 2 days once only..

I have to say iPhone battery life is usually not bad. But for anyone to claim it has a better battery life than a Note 2 sounds impossible if both have similar usage and syncing.

I can say Note2 battery life is awesome. Many screens posted here extremely heavy usage and can last a day. Fruit 5 dreaming also cannot get.

lol same, everything switched on prob last me 18hours a charge.. previously my nexus with the most efficient rom and kernel barely 12hours

Loving samsung product since my omnia 2 days, it solider on for 3 days without needing a recharge; even on heavy usage it lasted one full day when you make call whole day (really whole day due to my work, my phone ring whole day non stop) while fruitphone barely last for 1/2 a day in those situation.

Now on note 2 and amazed by it, heavy gaming and media streaming via 4g or internet it still last 2 days min.

Thumbs up for samsung and thumbs up for note2.

Ytd batt from 11am to 2am total 15 hours of mid usage. (play nfs and other games and mainly whatsapp), by 2am still left 46% I must say for a day 1 note2 it is simply awesome!

No offense though! But you should be looking at the Usage time and not the Idle/Standby time unless you buy a phone to use as a paper weight..?

My no SIM card iPhone 4 lost only 3-5% the whole day, true story! Was transferring data to my Note 2 and restoring it to default to pass to my mother.

Looks like this iphone is only for standby. Such low usage.
