Chill peeps nexus series are pretty solid built by Asus and Samsung.

As for LG devices, shouldn't be that bad either (hopefully)

You just have to cross your fingers that the N4 you received doesn't have those issues posted in the XDA forum.

Common issues will be 1) buzzing sound, 2) distortion on call, 3) battery draining, 4) screen..

if our N4 is cover with local warranty, none of the above issues is an issue. But if we have to send back to Google for RMA, it is really an issue...

I don't own one (yet). Probably gonna wait for local sets if i am gonna get.

There will always be a risk when you purchase export sets or ship from overseas.

Yes, that is the risk for export sets, just wait for the local set if not in a hurry.

anw guys. if you have this distorted voice issue where the other party will hear when using earpiece during a call. You can try to reload the default factory image to 1 version before - JOP40C. I had that issue and now seen to be gone after testing with my friend. (Google removed the image from their website, just wait for them to put it back or google online for one.) - hope this will help to resolve your issue if you have one.

**Ok, just tested again it doesn't work, the problem comes back again intermittently. sianz..

Hi guys,

Been following this thread for a while. After weeks and weeks of frustration and at long last, I finally got my hands on it.

Initial impressions, its bloody magnificent.

If anyone is curious, i didnt order from Google directly. I joined one of the MOs in the B&S thread and thankfully the MO organizer was pretty determined to get the phone.

So, like, any one got heads up on when it's arriving on our shores? And how much would it be for local sets?

Just a quick tip. not sure if its just me.

the proximity sensor is super sensitive. so if you are getting a screen protector without a proximity sensor cutout, chances are your screen will get wonky when you make a call.....cos the screen will always think your face is against the screen.

what i did for mine is i decided to make a small snip at the corner of my SP to solve the problem.
