hmmm... EPH-100 or SE215 LTD, though I feel a mid-forward IEM seems to be better for JPop IMO lol...

OT: Thanks haha... haha flash-sama still my favourite though
Anyway nice Kuroyukihime avatar

Haha, thanks. ^^

Although I'm a dumbass when it comes to the IEMs. Which one is the mid-forward IEM? Or am I being rather blur/dense/sleepy?

Bump! Bump!
You should give the UE4000 a try =)

Its on but provides pretty good isolation and minimal leakage of sound. Overall balanced sound with fast bass attack.

Otherwise, you can look at the beyerdynamic DTX501p which sounds similar with lesser bass and more mids, but no detachable cable =)

Asking again because apparently I have a short memory span.

- Your rig: HTC Desire S w/ Poweramp
- What type of usage : Music
- File format used in your source : FLAC
- Genre of music you listen to : Orchestral/Soundtrack, J-Pop, K-Pop
- Headphone / earphone type : IEM
- Other requirements : Emphasis on bass, looking for similar performance of my current Beyerdynamic DTX501p but in an IEM instead of cans.
- Budget : Less than $200

Oh, and kaixax555, love your avatar. ^^ Although I'd prefer Asuna with blue hair in the ALOv2 arc.
Have to agree on the SE215 blue but nothing is really very close to the 501p =)

You can try the TDK BA200 or Westone UM1. =)

Westone UM1 is detailed sounding with tight bass and good isolation. The TDK BA200 is a lot more smooth sounding, laid back treble and great bass extensions. Mids is not lacking as well.

Futuresonic Atrio, TF10, W3, UM3X, IE8. Some are slightly over budget.

Or are you looking for headphones cos I see 'noise cancelling' and 'surround sound' under type.

Futuresonic atrio m5. Not bad if you are a bass listener. It can go really low and rumbles. Which is good for your genre. Below $220 can get. Willing to spend $1k try their customs. Its very different from other brands. Its fun filled iem.
