Sorry what's heat sunk fan?i did install some xigmatek fan

What is the metal thingy that seats on top of your cpu? Is it like this one in the picture below?

install1155_hsf.jpg

This is the original HSF (Heat Sink Fan) that comes with the cpu.

I change the above HSF to this one instead ..... so mine will look like this :

Wow ... we got the same gfx card. You must have gotten it from PC Themes during their promo right? I was slow ... missed out on the GTX670 ... so bo bian get the EVGA GTX680 4GB instead.

You OC your GTX680 and idling only 36-38degC only? That is the temperature I get when I first power up my PC. Under normal browsing usage ... it is about 42-44degC.

I am running dual monitor @ 2560x1440 ... does this contribute to heavier load too?

How much did you pay for the EVGA GTX680 4GB? I got mine slightly below SGD$600.

Yes, my Crossover are bought from eBay for about $490 each for the pivot version. Suppose to have 1yr warranty but have to ship back. The pivot quality is not very fantastic. Display quality wise ... since it has no anti-glare coating ... it is pretty good.

Right now Dell U2713HM @ $799 with 3yrs on-site warranty but with anti-glare coating.

So if warranty is the concern ... get Dell.

wow under 600... sure bo... evga MSRP alr 539 USD about 670 SGD...

got mine for 520 USD, ship to sg total cost around 700 sgd. i thought quite a deal alr coz now sls sells 680 4gb cards for around 880-900++

anyway, won't consider dell stuff... had very bad experience with their CS before .

Yah ... it was a "Grand Opening" special offers by one of the shops in SLS.

EVGA GTX 670 2GB or 4GB @ $399
EVGA GTX 680 4GB @ $599

I missed the GTX 670 offers ... so settled for the GTX 680 offers. The GTX 670 offer was snapped up with hours of opening.

For me ... my previous Dell monitor gave up on me .. and I was pretty satisfied with Dell's response and replace. So I could have gotten the U2713HM if it was available then. $300 for 3yrs warranty on-site, sounds pretty reasonable to me.
