Anyone experiencing poor connection to a few websites? I can't go facebook and some other website since 6pm.

I'm facing some issues as well. Can't access a lot of websites.

same here.. facebook, tnp.sg etc.. all having connection was reset.

Called their customer service. waiting for callback.

I came home from work to complaints that the internet was not working

on off all my tplink gigabit switch + 2 engenius routers + huawei hg256s and ONT all cannot work

My VOIP line was working until i turn the huawei hg256s and ONT off and after that keep saying line is in use.

Tried google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 initially cannot work as well

now it can work after i replaced the starhub dns with the google one.

Anyone else having problems?

i can't say for sure but should be. If i can use a 2wire mio to do it i don't see why can't a PACE



hmm... there are alot of forms of "bridge" - it only depends on how many extra hops you are willing to do with it. - i might be wrong also.

the simplest, is to plug gateway to router's LAN instead of WAN. and use it from there.

So to bridge should be as follows:
ONT -->Gateway WAN port (this gives internet)
Gateway LAN 1-->DIR 655 LAN 1(this is bridged)
Correct?

erm, direct ont or not? If you are not on direct ont you can directly use
ONT > Gateway WAN
Gateway LAN > DIR-655 WAN ma.


unless you are talking about Direct ONT.
then i don't see why the Gateway has to be there. If you wish to have DirectONT + retain the Gateway (for whichever silly reasons) then, you are right. Any LAN port will do. Not necessarily be Port 1.

So I follow your 2nd suggestion and use any port?

eh.. if you are getting that - you are doing

ONT -> TP-Link -> DIR-655?

then all on WAN can le ma. (if direct ont is enabled)

Hi guys when I try to configure the router using the 192 thing it always goes to my old router, how should I detect the new d link router ?

Just disable old router 1st by in pluging it then change default IP of new router. May also need to refresh cache in browser.

I am having the same problems since yesterday. Don't think there is maintenance.

Yesterday evening was the worst. Only Youtube and google.com is working normally the rest of the website, HWZ, VR-zone include keep popping up errors and stuff.

hi! Arh you mean it cant detect the new router wirelessly? i must unplug the old one and plug in the new 1 using ethernet cable? thanks!

Yes u can connect wirelessly. But if both ip same then u will keep connecting to one with strongest signal. Just connect a LAN cable easier.
I assume both are same IP by default.
