IMO, the whole concept of the Padfone should be to offer best of both worlds in 1 device.

Ideally, I think it should be a smaller than 4.5/4.7" phone + larger than 9.7/10.1" tablet. Small enough to use as a phone and large enough for productivity.

By letting the phone grow close to phablet size, I think it has muddied the Padfone concept.

Transfer back the zip file to the phone and flash now again.

The first flash is to re-partition ( cos you are trying to flash to TW, only TW needs to re-partition).
Sometimes re-partition will wipe everything

I don't know why you will get stuck the first time you tried to flash WWE.
I guess your zip might be corrupted.

I have already successfully flashed from starhub fw to WWE for 2 of my friends and no data wiped
no abort while flashing too.

thx for the reply, i successfully flashed to tw firmware. anyway does anyone have any idea how to load malsing maps into the garmin partition? my garmin partition was empty when opened but its 1.5Gb

no idea how to load maps, hopefully someone can help.

But you can't access the partition by opening it like that.

Probably need to use some software(Garmin)

another thing is how to back up the padfone app and data hur.. i got 1.5gb cannot back up in 1 shot

Simply just split the backup into multiple files.

Each backup is 600mb, so stop when you hit the 600mb and remember the last app that you backup,

After that backup is done, continue from where you stopped

I find that padfone should just stick to 4.3inch like the first gen.

My padfone 2 station touch screen got problem, whenever i swipe slowly the input trace will break into fragment, hard to perform long press also. This problem is only on station, for phone itself is ok. Can you guys plz help me to confirm this problem, just try to draw line slowly in supernote and see whether it will detects continuous line or glitch dotted line.

There is a app available in asus website. It will calibrate for station screen and it works fine after calibration.

from what i see, it's that you're currently using 2G/3G/3.5G

Set network mode to wcdma only. I suspect that the 2g signal is much stronger than your 3g/hspa signal, causing your phone to be on 2g signal most of the time

Anyone facing this problem? When running on LTE map cannot get a lock on position but running on 3G don't have such a problem. Anyway to fix this bug?
