Cheers. Any issues let me know and I will try to help you.
Any questions about Nanoblocks and the kits, just feel free to ask.

Btw...you might want to check with ToyBrickStation first. Based on their site, they still have a Yamato: Imperial Japanese Navy Ship Yamato Deluxe Edition - Toy Brick Station

And meantime, you can find interesting info from a fellow forumner's FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/straightoutoftheline

I won't reveal who. haha...I'll let the person reveal himself.
:s13::s13:

So the marketer himself is trying to help me by pulling in potential clients. :p

Anyway, more serious issue.

Someone found this on ebay, a clone nanoblock brand selling Chris's creations: Nanoblock Must See Brand New 10 Figures 24 HR Auction | eBay

Selling in Philippines also: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.419751161454704.1073741830.223050604458095&type=3

Yes I saw the clone sales already. I contacted Chris and informed him too...but Chris doesn't seem to care/bother about Nanoblocks anymore. :(

The FB page is probably the same guy behind the eBay one.
But looking at the rest of what they sell. Probably used to ripping off brand names. Those pirates.

I think it is not easy to chase the people as it has already happened for a period of time, and the brand is from China.

What we want to worry is people mistaking them as sub-lines of Nanoblocks as the price on that Ebay is very expensive for a fake.

Thanks for the info. In fact, I first saw the Yamato on their website. Quite costly to me, so I thought of getting from a cheaper source.

Is 20% off rrp the best price you can get for Nanoblock products in local retail shops?

Thanks!

If you can, the price after the discount is cheaper. Have you got the quote from the webshop yet?

Yes, I have received the quote, thanks.

Price still quite costly for me :( Maybe I should try start with smaller sets available in local retail shops..

Any cheaper, you would have to get it off the store yourself haha..cause shipping is the killer. Maybe get a friend whos going to Japan to help you? The box is quite big though...so gotta be a close friend. ;)

The Yamato is available at Toy Brickstation when I last saw it.

I'm still holding back on purchasing >$100 nanbolock sets.

Yest I was at Metro, 20% storewide discount. Saw nanoblocks, but flinched at the cost of such a small box..

Just can't bring myself to buy them.

In the end, I bought kero & lego bricks :o

Maybe not appealing enough for me at the moment..

Yeah but at $160, the guy who was originally asking for it finds it too expensive.

I've gotten a couple of >$100-300 sets myself. Not everything, but only those I really like. Just a personal choice and commitment to the hobby.

haha..some times must take the plunge! With 20% discount it should be ~$20...quite ok what...the box is small but don't discount the number of pieces.

In regards to the design engineering, might be more complicated than Kre-Os or Legos :)
