if my homeplugs transfer rate between 2 pc is about 15mb/s means i take 200mbps plan also no use?

don't use homeplugs lor... try to lay a cable instead? cos anything passing thru your homeplugs will be bottlenecked by it.

yup, relocation has charges as well. it's a even more horrible process. Please check quickly as my last impression is you need a long long long time for pre-informing them!

Balcony got the aluminum door frame.. So quite impossible to drill through

what do you have in your balcony?

aluminium door frame --> think it's even easier to drill thru than a wall... locate a small corner where the ethernet cable can pass thru without blocking your door's pathway (or getting damaged by it) then drill a hole thru?

slot the wire over then terminate it with the rj45 jack.

note: do at own risk ah...

Previously during the IT show March 2013, M1 got this promo on the $79 (with the free laptop) which include the fibre broadband and the valuesurf deal.

For the above deal, the valursurf must be a new contract, or am I able to use my existing mobile deal (17th month contract already) for the above deal??

Cause currently, am deciding to take up the current promo(200mbps) or wait until June 2013 IT show for the free laptop promo deal.(hopefully m1 will still have such deal)

can be existing line but must be around 20/21 months. Otherwise there might be top up charges for early recontract.

Not idea if going to have a Mobile + Fibre with free laptop deals during PC Show but so far major roadshow for past 2 years always have =)

Black ont really makes a diff. Download currently at 9x, while upload generally abt 112/3M?...

Btw, the ans to ur qn wld be no. As with the new black ONT that M1 is using now, the line is untagged. Which means u can use any router of ur choice.

Do however take note that, do not choose one that bottlenecks ur connection speed.

Thanks. I will go for the Asus N66U for the fast speed and need to take in consideration on the bottleneck of the home plugs for my computers in my room.

If home plugs are the bottleneck then I will have to use WiFi for my pc and home plugs for other devices like blu-ray player etc.

Customer service mgr called me just now to ensure will upgrade to new plan after midnight, so lets see tmr.

Current upload is hitting 112~3Mbps according to speed test (wired).
