THen theres this guy who studied in sg n went back open store, i have yet to order from him despite price cheapest n knows where his family stay in sg.... why bother? :)

most shops in SLS still stuck with crappy dual core and quad core. Last time I check SLS they dont carry Pipo brand at all.

ur best choice is either Fukuno or websites like taobao or geekbuying

Guys,

Appreciate if you could advice me on a MIC tablet.
I have been reading by have been lost by the sheer number of models and tech jargon.
Preferably can be bought in SG.
My requirements are as follows:

10 inch screen
Quad core (RK3188)
2GB RAM
16GB storage with SD expansion
3G + Wifi (I dont quite understand what does external 3G means)
Able to use google play

Main use for surfing, reading social sites, I play simple games, none of those war or shooting stuff.

Hope you guys can help.

Thanks!

FUKONO uses BLIOGspot free blog webpage. don't look so pro .

NO physical shop address no contacts no official company registration...nothing ?

is it operate from home one man show those type of personal small time seller is it ?

Page look very simple.:s22:

BUT not bad la... no overhead should be able to sell cheaper than their so cal competitors which they mention very often on their blog.

No overheads no need pay for hosting. simply copy/paste description.:)

Look like operate by those POLY students - earning sideline income is it ? just wondering.

Anyone got go to their actual shop before ?
is there a shop at all ?

Puzzling - curios... just description of product on a free blogspot. :)

Mr. Blue00 - can use your webcam check out if the seller wear underwear at home and work on home computer type is it ? :)

Just saw some mobile number on every product description section.

Good place to advertise here.

The reason I said all that is, when I go to their blogspot. There are no physical addresses. Just product description and some news to help warn users about imitation and updates.

If they are serious merchant. why can't they have a standard web site other than using a BLOG. Surely doesn't look very professional.

Like product details, shopping cart and buyers' opinion/feedback.
and the overall webpage look.

It'll give potential buyer better confidence and comfort.
Else it give the impression like a fly by night online shop.
If things don't goes right and a lot of buyers want to pursue compensation, they can simply closed/delete their blog-spot account and disappear from the face of earth and you can't find them. Now you see them now you don't those kind of possibility.

Am not saying they are - BUT at least it gave that kind of impression to new users/visitors.

Their main sales would come only from recommendation via forum like this where their buyers would tell fellow forum members.

Experience buyers will shunt such shop as they the lack essential "who/where/location/contact"

Invoice are easily created.

Or perhaps their target buyers are people from local IT related forums only.

Anyway - Thanks for the info/reply. :)

Cheers.

I would say this is more 'word of mouth' than anything.

I personally have yet to buy any MIC tablets from fukuno but have traded sms with them before... seems like they do not hide details in order to sell a tablet (they told me the disadvantage of the tablets I enquired to help me make a better choice, but I ended up not buying any bcoz I'm waiting for Google's convention late May to see if Nexus 10 got A-15 Quad core or not)

For MIC tablets wise, buying from fukuno will be more expensive than taobao, but the advantage u get is u can ENSURE that the tablet u get is at least working and not a DOA unit.

true and not forgetting the warranty part.

on pricing of the n80rk, it is listed as 699rmb there but not sure on the freight part and the warranty part. it stated there 198 for warranty which has no option to refuse it. it dint stated the freight options too.

so if get from taobao, what is the total cost and how long would one get the tablet?

Ha :s22:

I am not giving info leh.

Its just my wondering out loud of it, as someone here mentioned about them quite few times. When I visit their site - Actually NO formal site. Only a Blogspot page on a popular free blogs hosting site. So I am just thinking and voicing out loud and wonder who or what this Fukuno is about...

Hopefully some one out there can share a bit more insightful information about them. So far from response are that, some spoken to the operator before but never buy from them. And some used their service before and compare their warranty/quality check advantage.

BUT no one shares their formal office/shop address yet.

The one whom answered the phone and sending order with detail explanation to customers could be the same Joe.

So I am wondering perhaps is a OMO thing. BUT I could be wrong.
I don't really know for sure yet.

Asking my friend Mr. Blue00 to investigate. :)

Anyway - Thanks for the appreciation.
There was no firm info yet actually.

Cheers.

Thanks for this piece of info
