It's ok la.. In the past, I don't think it was common to propose with a big rock.. When my dad proposed, he used gold ring without any diamonds too... After a few years when he got money, then he bought a diamond ring. And according to the old man, most of his friends couldn't afford a diamond ring back then too.

My budget isn't as high as the other guys there... Mine was only $3k... but I still managed to get a nice Brellia diamond ring.

The price is correct for a Princess Cut... Princess cut diamonds are usually much cheaper than the Round diamond..

Just make sure it has no fluorescence! :)

yup, there is no fluorescence for this piece. worried that a 0.84 won't look big enough.

Round and cushion with hearts and arrows are the around the same price I think.. But cushion without hearts and arrows will be cheaper versus a cushion with heart and arrows. There's a big difference if the diamond doesnt have the hearts and arrows.

hi Grizz.P, eye clean meaning not visible with naked eye right ? then i can chill already. cause for a second i didnt notice the cloud on the stone till a later time.

As long as its eye clean, it won't affect the performance of the stone

Hi, went to JP.

Was quoted $8900 for solasfera 0.73c, vs1, e.
I thought its a bit overpriced. Can I have some comments? Thx.

Solasfera is a different type of diamond.. the price will be different compared to the traditional 57 facets ones. If you go see Destinee Royal from Lee Hwa, it has 10 hearts/arrows too.. For 0.7c, it will be around 16k liao..

Although my Solasfera is much smaller than yours... (only 0.3c), it stills very sparkling and eye catching.. My fiance got several compliments from her colleagues and relatives.

Hello

anyone here got the engagement ring re-sized with JannPaul?
How long will they take to do it?

Its quite fast... they resized mine in a few days.

My hubby paid $9,500 inc setting for a Solasfera 0.71, VS1, F
i think yours is cheap already for an E color.

Hi Hua Hui, i recommend you to visit JP to gain more knowledge on diamonds. They are very friendly and will not push you to buy.

That's what i like..they provide "education" first. Haha
