A way of looking at it:
Total cost for 24 months with Singtel=$29.90x24+$498=$1215.60
Buying direct from Sony singapore=$988 --> only $227.60 for 2 yrs data bundle of 5GB/month or monthly $9.50.
So no brainer to get the tablet from Singtel.

Another angle: If you look at xtz pricing against Note 8.0 LTE under Singtel 5GB plan, difference only $140.
--> with Note 8.0 LTE now selling at $670 retail, you are paying $810 for it.

So my advise is to get from Singtel at PC Show if available there. The $888 promotion not attractive anymore.

with Sony Xperia Link, u don't need to pay for extra Data or Multi-SIM.

Just Activate it, SCAN ur HP and it will link to the internet through BT to your phone. It is actually that simple.

You are right. It uses you phone's data. If it is home wifi then no need to uswE mobile data. But then, you won't be needing to use that function too.

Your 2 devices need to have bluetooth to be on in order for the 2 to commuicate too.
