hmm so why ADs have occasional promotion on certain watches with huge discounts?

must be a reason right? either not popular or sitting there for too long , cannot sell??

u ask for popular brands panaeri, literally 0% discount or minimal 5 % on less popular models

u ask for less well known brands like concord, zenith etc , most can give around 20% with occasional promotions with futher discount

Ahboy82 - The Portuguese is way beyond my budget. Actually, if I have enough $$, I'd buy the Pilot Watch Spitfire Chrono (online ~US$10,000):

The back has an image of the Spitfire - my favourite WWII flying machine. I'm a military stuff enthusiast and enjoy building plastic military model kits:

KohChris - Omega/IWC no contrast. Good point. Will need to take another look. I'm fair skin so will not want a dark face watch. Learning a lot from you guys!

Flame2000 - I looked up the lowest end JLC master Control Automatic (like you suggested in one of my earlier posts) . It looks nice but price is too high. The Zenith Captain Elite can be had for <$5000. And yes I like the thinness too.

Patryn33 - I thought the Zenith Captain Elite was launched in 2010? Though the movement dates back to 1990s. The Zenith and IWC Poto are indeed around the same price. So you feel the IWC is a better buy?

yep kinda agree the contrast nt there for iwc porto as compared to the zenith. i am also fair skin, some ppl say fair skin ppl shd take black face watches. i m not so sure abt that cos i tried black and white faces but i still prefer the white face porto.
