I just received my Tissot Visodate Silver, purchased from Ebay for $600 off jomashop.

It's under warranty for 2 years, but truth is will be quite mafan to send for servicing. Still, I get to save quite a tidy sum so I am satisfied.

The watch is beautiful!

i got a seiko i think abt 20yrs ago lei cost $100 back then which i dont like and stop wearing after a few months. I dont like the look of tissot too.. i never liked CK even for any of their fashion tings.

My hse wall clock, desk alarm clock and weekend watch are all CASIO brand... Looking to get a nice dress watch but all the watches mentioned here seems way out of league for me, i mean too expensive la.

I ask my gal she said B&M classima is ugly. And with alligator strap i will sure to get it spoilt fast becos of my rugged use. Looks like i will never get to hoot any dress watch at all.

Guay gauy just remain watchless, complement my look with other accessories bah.

The powermatic 80 didn't look as good in person.(maybe because I saw the bracelet version instead of leather strap) The visodate did look nicer.

Seems that the tissot visodate still the popular sought-after best value watch in this thread at the moment. Might consider this as my budget is tight. $800 still affordable equals my one month savings.

Bro, I bought the exact same piece for 630 from allwatches lucky plaza. The sales reps are quite open to negotiating. Look for the lady boss if you can.

I paid 300 cash 330 nets. You gotta "act" like you're on a really tight budget and stay firm on your offer. I initially quoted 600 but the sales rep didnt budge, he insisted 680 was the best he could do so I counter offered 630 until he got off his chair and asked the lady boss and she gave the green light.

if there are defects on the watch, how good is jomashop's wty? As compared to a local one? Do you have to send the watch back? How much risk and charges would this incur?
