Got 556A going for 900 at SWX.

Suggest that the sinn gets considered first

yea... My arm quite big... so my current watch which is 42mm.. looks kinda small to me :(

But dress watch shouldn't be too big. :)
Might want to take a look at the Hamilton Jazzmaster slim auto, 43mmm, less than $1k and its using an ETA2892.

Actually for that sin556a 2nd hand compared to 1st hand visodate @ ard 6xx which 1 more worth?

The sin566a retails @ ard 2k?

those who are considering sinn vs visodate,

my personal view is visodate is more like a dress watch, whereas the sinn is more sporty looking.

so get the visodate as a dress watch, as well as get the sinn as a sporty watch.

=:p=:p

haha, yea i too would prefer a strela instead :( but those are hard to come by for a gd price n condition though..

got this from a dutch collector on WUS :o awaiting delivery via postnl.. anyone has experience from postnl? :o

I'm a fan of the 3133 movement too! I think most members of WUS get their new non vintage 3133 from Julian of Poljot24..

Might be getting a Strela if funds permit... just got a new Steinhart :s13:

dress vs sports watch design aside,

sinn build quality more like tag/ball/longines

tissot build quality more like ck

ya i agree with you that it shouldn't look too big...

maybe need to go to shop n try on wrist more. I just don't want the watch to make my wrist look fat when the dial is too small :(

I have been wearing Seiko previously and it is still serving me well so do you think Seiko is good? =:p
I think Seiko makes some very good watches, and we're not even talking about the GS line, which is very impressive too.

I own 3 Seikos btw, and would love to eventually own GS.

tophour at lucky plaza.

or jw

Many thanks, will check out both.
changed my strap at JW previously.

on a side note, have anybody sent their ETA 2824-2 watches for servicing with a local watch shop before?
what would the market rate I should be looking at?
my watch is about 3 years old and it is losing about 1 minute a week...

Still hunting for my dress watch ... Should I spend money on this Zenith Elite Captain Dual Time?

Or should I dig around for a lot more $$$ and get this JLC Master Control Automatic?

Which would be a better buy? Buying for keeps. Resale value is of no concern to me. The Zenith's face is interesting and the JLC's face is less so (but still nice). But owning a JLC is so enticing ....:)
