monday's the closing date and plus i forgot to submit my documents 10 days after application lol. wonder if they will accept it on monday...=:p

applied oct alr waiting for SIM to send enrollment package

i guess as per seniors and poly mates i will get 1.5 year exemption

exemption can be a good thing or bad thing unless u r well prepared for the hell that is awaiting you in year 3. year 2 is the easiest of all

I am planning to enroll for Jan intake. Just to check if we are able to use PSEA account to minus the course fee?

Or any other funds or grants we can apply?

I don't think so.

Only funds would be scholarship.

Oh yeah, and the low-income family fund, but very difficult to hit.

no psea or cpf,

no bursary or whatsoever as well..

probably only a few scholarships from sim website...

There is a bursary...but chances of it securing that bursary is low. Not because of the slots, but the requirements, around $500 PCI i suppose.

i was just reading on the job scope for SIM/UOW graduands..

would getting a CCNP increase chances of getting a job for DSS degree?

This is my 2 cent worth... don't let employer short change ur degree. With this degree ur salary can get 3k min without exp with experience even more.

But bare in mind, u will have to do well enough for technical interview and written technical test
