can ask, if i have a CPFIS-OA trading account, does that mean I already have a CDP account?

I can't remember if I did apply for one.

Not necessary

Cpfis-oa and Cdp are seperate

Cpfs is opened with agent bank like DBS
Cdp is opened with Sgx

it is in your cdp, not in your brokerage, so that is why you wont be able to see it from your brokerage portfolio (because u got it from ipo, n not via the brokerage)

your cdp is linked with your brokerage, so sell the ipo from your brokerage, they will deliver the shares to the buyer from your cdp

If use cpf oa to buy cpf approved stocks... will be inside the buyer's cdp holdings? Or agent bank is "holding" it?

If agent bank is holding... during dividend XD, it's deposited back to cpf OA??

Is it up to the customer to manually calculate the 35% investable CPF funds or the brokerage firm will have a credit limit system to remind us?

Because if overshot in buying excess lots... what happens?

-overshot excess lots will become cash
- u have to check your cpf statement and see what is your stock limit. its written there calculated by cpf

whats a recommended brokerage for non SG/PRs to open trading account with? preferably with less buy/sell limit restriction. currently with KE and its so restrictive (successfully applied ipo but have to inform broker everyday to increase sell limit inorder to sell off allotment)
