Depends on whether you need to have constant internet connectivity on your tablet.

If it is for occasional needs, you can always rely on your home wireless or hotspot from your phone.

I'll use the OTG cable > USB 3G modem method since my spare data sim lying around isn't LTE enabled.

According to google websire, There is band 3, then according to fsctsheet, there is 1800 MHz too.

But it will not be so soon for lte to be released

At least a few more weeks in US, and a couple of months for uk to release wifi only (est is mid sept)

Agreed. Given the conflicting information we've been getting from Google's website and Asus product page, it would be safer to wait till the actual device is on the market if LTE is essential for you.

Erm, from what you highlighted, Google's website seems to indicate that EU Nexus 7 would not have LTE. Whereas Asus website states the LTE bands for EU SKUs. So EU Nexus 7 got LTE or not? I say that's conflicting. So I really don't believe the technical specifications 100%.

Anyway, inconsistent may be a better description, since Google has changed their technical specs since the launch of the new Nexus 7 website.

Like that we can also assume singapore or asia wont be selling lte also haha.

Want LTE version, best to wait for brave guinea pigs to try. First to own it doesn't make you a hero, nobody died from getting a tablet later.
