Anyone using this t-connector to use 2 antenna?

Just wanted to share that i bought this from ebay recently.

Tested it when it arrived (with my home's antenna) and confirm that it works and is able to decode both Singapore's existing digital TV signals (DVB-T). I can watch channel 5, 8, channelnewsasia and channel 5 HD in digital.

It should also work once we move onto DVB-T2 signals in Singapore.

Some minimal set up is required that is not stated in the manual for this set top box (as this set top box is meant for Europe markets). But, its simple enough if you just use your brain.

I did tried that and it works pretty well...quite strong signals with the antenna against the wall...

Matching transformer? Sim lim Tower...its not exactly the same as in the video. It does not have the 2 wires but will work nonetheless

I thought It had to been those 75-300 ohms type.
Btw, I had try to ask around over there but apparently most of the the shop personnel give me a blur look ...hahaha.
Any shop in particular and the cost of it. Thanks

previously many of them bought it at SLS level 3, UF technology~ they placed in a box on the floor~ that was few yrs back and it was selling at $1~! not sure it still selling or nt~

Yes, its a 75-300ohms matching transformer...looks like that...3rd floor or the ground level on the right will have it..$1.50

Which design will be be working on? I try using the CD case method using the $1.50 transformer which Dankoo mentioned. Negative result.. thought it could be that transformer issue. :-(

I used the same transformer and tried on both clips only and CD version. Both works for me.

and here's the result

compared to my amplified antenna, this has lower signal strength, but very high and constant signal quality. my amplified antenna gives fluctuating signal strength, but reaches 100%, same goes for signal quality. occasionally, it drops a lot and i see green pixels.

this DIY antenna gives very constant smooth picture. another thing i'd like to point out is the position and direction of the antenna does matter.

Signal Strength is far less important than Signal Quality. Since u get 100% for Signal Quality, that's very good already.

Btw what TV are u using that can tune to DVB-T?

I find the CD antenna better. The clip only needs to be stick on a concrete wall for best results

It seem like most of you got some success in your diy unit. Not too sure Y mine don't work at all... got to go and get one of the tube shape transformer and try it out.

Btw, anyone able to receive at other channels other than e 4 sg channel.

Just get the cheapest rabbit ear antenna from the mama shop below the hdb blocks. Most will sell it around $2-3. Then salvage the balun transformer.
Better than making trips to sim lim I think.

That is exactly what i did salvaging the balun transformer from e rabbit ear antenna and try it with the Clip CD case but somehow receive no signal at all. Suspect it could be balun transformer faulty. juz could like to give it another try with the one in the photo.
