anyway, i am curious. you guys see the layout ah. those darken walls mean thick wall that cannot be hacked right?

anyone know if hdb got rules to prevent hacking of the thin walls?

1) Yes..Those are apparently the core support beams..
2) Need contractor to apply permit and they must be registered with HDB if i'm not wrong.

Does she know the standard wall thickness? For both the hackable thin ones and the thick ones.. i only can estimate to know my inner room dimension. Ask the HDB officer, she says ID knows it.

Nope, she works in a id firm but not as a id..

Not really a big concern, location and what you see outside the window is more important.

If all the flats packed together like sardine, no matter which floor is also bad. And will rather be right on top than to be middle or bottom.

Usually people will say very hot on a sunny day, but I think more of it comes to the ceiling height and the way the building is located... and maybe also the Sun direction.

Pros
-unlikely to hear any furniture/elephant stomping sound. if u still do.... hmmm
-more windy
-no clothes dripping onto urs...
-lift won't to be full when it reaches ur floor..

Cons
-Said to be the hottest unit
-Ceiling leakage prob

*Apparently, the highest floor no longer have a higher ceiling anymore.. *

accordingly to my elder sis... highest floor attracts some insects taking refuge in certain weathers...
