You should know how much time I've spend to try making my current connection stable lor...Zzzz

Bloody connection keep dropping every now and then, even on IPv4.. Grrr!!!!!!

Like I said, the time spent, the potential loss of income, the nags and grieves from wifey, the sleepless nights, etc all adds up to "You should have listen and ditch SH and get onboard VQ long ago, even if it is to run in parallel until SH contract ends."

Wow... Impressive. You just top 2 of us.

Just curious. How is your internal connectivity?

Laptop -> Zhone -> Internet?

I cheated a little bit. I directly connected my PC (Intel I350-T2 NIC) to Zhone. Btw, speedtest cannot keep up with this crazy speed so the result is not so consistent.
Here is the result testing by VQW server.

Setup 1:
Zhone --> Windows PC with Intel I350-T2 NIC

Setup 2 (my normal setup):
Zhone --> Asus RT-N66U (Merlin build) --> HP ProCurve 1810G-8 Switch (J9449A) --> Windows PC with Intel I350-T2 NIC

I will tell her I am conducting an infrastructure reliability and performance test so that I can convince you to invest in a proper infrastructure such that she can have a smooth and problem-free use of Internet and other infocomm related services including but not limited to entertainment (movies, dramas, etc).

Hahahahahaha... :s13:

Better still, I will show her BOM and ROI...

Bu yao hai wo!!!! Me bo budget liaoz ah.. kekeke!!!!

Fire Wall/Anti virus disabled. using the same cable as the last post.

Chrome

Firefox

IE

and I did tests on VQ servers and ST Servers. The higher upload results are all ST.

Which I do not quite understand why this is happening.

What is the system you are using, whether it has Gigabit Network Interface or not?
How is the internal LAN connectivity? System -> Zhone?

Dell Inspiron 14z Windows 8 Home Edition

Qualcomm Atheros AR8162/8166/8168 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30)

Direct connection to zhone with lan cable

The thing I can't quite understand atm is how all my test results with higher upload speed is all ST server and when I test with VQ server the upload is slower.
