hi all just got this made at fuwell.. mainly for gaming

should i upgrade anything to make it faster? like go dual graphic card? increase the ram to 32gb? or something of that sort

sorry im a tech noob here

here's the specs

- Asus Z87 Deluxe (haswell) 4770k 3.5
- Plextor M5 Pro 256GB
- WD Black 2TB 7200RPM
- Cosiar Dominator Platinum 2 x 8 GB 1600 CL9
- CM storm trooper black
- Asus GT780
- Season Xseries 1000 w

In before people post u dun need a 4770K for gaming.

It's fine. Just that people preferred 4670 max for gaming. Even if you have tons of cash for your rig. :D

It's a culture here la... :s13: :s13:

All 4 cores 8 threads will all kanna whack down to 4 cores 4 threads. :s13:

thanks alot. i should have done some reading before purchasing.. i just stepped in and chose the parts mainly with the mentality thinking faster is better :(

It's okay, but just not getting the most value of what you spent. Unless you bargained/regular customer at Fuwell, you could've saved $50+++ in total if bought from other shop(s)

Always better to research on your own or ask the bros here before going down to hoot parts. Unless budget isn't a problem for you, then just go for the best of the best :s13:

oh and roughly, with this current setup how long do u think it can last for in terms of gaming? meaning the lifespan before i have to upgrade again

How much you paid for this setup?

I think it will last for at least 3+ years, before you can decide to upgrade.

$50, it can easily range further than $100 especially for high-end builds such as yours.

mind would be considered high end build?

i always thought something like dual graphic card
32gb ram
512 ssd of this sort would be counted as more high end

how should i go about more to make it more cooling? the desktop is also currently placed in an air conditioned room which is constantly on.... would that help?

Total: $3187. Got buy KB, mouse, monitor or other stuff?
