So my friend is going to build a PC, and I'm accompanying him to buy. Should we go TP or PCT?
If we go TP, I will be helping him to build, but my experience from building is all from watching videos, while PCT is more expensive. How should we proceed?

Self assemble makes no diff if you go pct or tp, why pay more by going pct? Unless you have no interest in building or find it waste time/not worth the time then go pct ask them build for you lor.
DIY is mainly just to save money and for experience.

PCT is a little friendlier than TP. TP can bargain fr their list price. I got my seas0nic modu 620w for 110 when the list price is 119. pct is 125 list.

My journey in SLS for major parts (set, mb, cpu, psu, etc) - fw -> pct -> tp.

Anyway, now SLS is just touch n go. Noobs will need to pay 'life lesson' fee. Whereas, noob who chks/asks advice here will fare better, like me.

If you lazy willing to pay more then go ahead to pct.

Both shops can bargain one. You'll be surprised when you try bargaining with both shops and see which one is able to give you a lower price at the end of the day
