We can't know for sure. N7 2012 retailed initially for $399(US 199), later drop to $349 in Nov.

N7 2nd Gen start at USD$229, who knows what price gonna be when available in Singapore stores?

For 16GB, about ~12GB free.
After initial update and auto google apps installs.

Ok... maybe I be more specific. Is the positioning based on WIFI signals only? Is there a dedicated GPS chip such that when WIFI positioning is switched off, the positioning can be done based on GPS satellites?

I know the iPad WIFI models don't have a GPS chip. The positioning is solely based on WIFI signals. Only the 3G/LTE models have a GPS chip and antenna.

Understand what you mean. There is a dedicated GPS chip inside on the Wifi version, this is no Apple (pun intended).

Actually it has been like this since the 1st gen Nexus 7.

U can be 100% sure there won't be any member discount on the nexus 7-2 when it first launches. The only benefit will be member points.

Yes, the 2GB ram in the new Nexus 7 is enough to make this much smoother than N7

Let's not even compare the difference in screen beauty...
