help with yet another budget gaming rig

Hi

I'm using like ep35-ds3 + 8400 or something mono CPU which is like 6 years ago with a gts250 gfx card right now.

Looking to upgrade with minimal budget as always.

I intend to reuse

Cooler master centurion 5/cm centurion 534 w/ side window ( forgot which I bought)

Samsung s223 22x DVD+-RW

WD caviar se500 GB sata 16mb
Some other WD HDD which is newer

Andyson ad-500 500w PSU (till it spoils)

Yes I do game but I don't play extreme games like crysis. Probably more like dota2 type of games. (Am doing so on my current rig)

I don't need to play anything on high settings. I usually play on mid or sometimes even low settings when I tried games like tera online thus I'm hoping to save some money by getting a lower end GPU that's value for money

Don't need monitor os etc, just the CPU will do

I do a little of research and saw some stuff like

i5 3470 with b75 dgs
Power color 7770

These seems to be some pretty budget parts which I scanned through

Do you think its sufficient for my style of usage?

Oh I am also looking for some decent prices PSU as well to possibly keep in case mine dies on me

If a budget is really needed...maybe something less than 400? Or maybe 500?

Thanks a lot! Using mobile to type, hoping I didn't have much typos

Thanks again! Appreciate the help!

Thanks

Isit worth to push it up to 7770 for the extra 20 odd?

Read that its a decent increase on google

And will the PSU be sufficient and slots be suitable for it?

Its up to you. yes there is a slight bump in performance for the 7770.

7770 if I'm not wrong only takes in 80-90w at max. So the PSU you have would suffice.

Hi

Just saw PC gtx660 bundle and realised its a pretty awesome deal right?

Asrock b75m-dgs +i5-3470 ~ $292

Palit gtx660 & TT smart se 630w ~ $225

Kingston 1600mhz value ram 8gb - $81? ( I need to change it cause mine is too old right? )

Total $698

Will I have any issues with my other older parts?

Also will I be able to use my current 500w PSU till it dies before changing?

Thanks!

Should be no issues with your other parts. But just use the current thermaltake PSU. The andyson keep for spare.

I'm looking to play games like dota2 that aren't on high demand for settings on high quality of cos. But as better games with better gfx comes out, I wouldn't mind settling for mid settings.

I based this on the fact that I UAE my current gts250 for mid settings or default settings for dota2 and used low settings for games such as tera online.

I don't play the extreme games such as crysis and bf4 coming etc so I don't need the extreme cards

Don't really intend to cross fire due to my lousy casing to save up some bucks also. Don't need cross fire for extreme graphics due to the games I play too. Which was y I almost intended to get the 7770 only.

But since PC themes is offering that bundle, it seems like the most bang of the buck deal.

I was considering the gtx760 bundle at 399 but I felt its kinda over kill for me case especially

Yup! I shd plan to go down sometime soon before the deal disappears though Lol!

Thanks for the help so far!

Oh another question,

Seeing how the parts are rather few that I'm getting from trade pac, is bargaining still viable? Lol since its only for CPU mobo and ram
