Aviva general exception:

3.Radioactivity
Loss, damage or liability which involves:

•Ionising radiation or radioactive contamination from nuclear fuel or nuclear waste; or
•The radioactive, toxic, explosive or other dangerous properties of explosive nuclear equipment.

Travel Insurance - General Exceptions - Aviva Singapore

BTW, should we get a travel insurance now for the possible travel ban to Japan? Thinking of how to insure myself on the possible travel ban thus making my tix and lodging all gone down to the drain.

remember one important fact.

if people tell you only ZERO radiation is safe then these people need to wear aluminium suits to go out.

there is plenty of radiation bombarding around in the air.

the more worrying bit would be the contamination of food or ground water... which is not as dangerous as being exposed to the radiation of the coolant water which in hours would give you a dose equal to abt 5 years worth of x-ray

If you are scared, then just cancel the trip. That will be the best way. No point coming then you keep worrying about radiation.
