Anyone here can shed some light on this???

If wanna engage a photoG for a few hrs of dnd shooting, what is the current rate now???

Really depends on dnd duration and size of the event.
If pretty large dnd, you will need a few photographers to
cover different areas.
Budget for this would be quite high.
If small size, you don't really need a big budget for it.
I can't comment on rate for photographers as different studios/
photographer have their own rate.

I suggest you start getting quotes first, if you
can't make a decision maybe you can ask me.
Cheers!

Moi is $100 per hour. Acceptable? If okay, PM me. :o

Typically rate would be somewhere around here.
For me, if you're interested in engaging me
I would need your dnd planning as I need to plan
and also to quote you properly.
(I will provide you an official quote if you need.)
1) Lens and equipment to bring
2) Lightning conditions
3) Suitable shooting areas

Just to share one of my reputable event shooting
for Canon events:

i tot this one is you go there learn how to shoot food and not shoot the event itself? :s8:

I had the good fortune of being selected by Canon EOS World to attend the Canon Imaging Academy Food Photography Workshop at Loola’s by Awfully chocolate. This workshop was an opportunity to challenge myself and to learn more about food photography.

The camera I brought with me was Canon’s latest and world’s first DSLR with touchscreen, the Canon EOS 650D, accompanied by a Canon EF-S 18 – 135mm f/3.5 – 5.6 STM IS lens.

Depending on the dish, I used 2 different macro lenses (which I borrowed from Canon): the Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 compact Macro and EF-S60mm f/2.8 Macro USM.
