Just to check, anyone here has Comme des Garcons Cologne Series 4 Anbar or Atelier's Grand Neroli ? How is the their neroli compared to TF's NP and 4711 in our SG's hot and humid weather?

I'm thinking of getting either 1 from luckyscent...

Just wear what you want but be mindful of the potency of the frags that you choose to put on.The keyword is experiment.
Heavy scents are wearable if you get the hang of how to apply them.

Most reviewers are pretty much based on the West.That's why I started reviewing and doing my own take based on SG's climate.

Looking at all the Youtube reviews out there, a lot of them are into autumn/winter fragrances that are heavier and sweeter/muskier. I personally like those more but I find them hard to wear in our climate as they'll get horribly cloying.

How about you guys? Do you wear the heavier stuff in the day?

Tropical climate I tend to avoid gourmand scents during hot and humid daytime...night time anything goes

If I can stand them, I wear them. I like the strong stuff. Meek and mild frags are generally not my thing unless they really speak to me.
I don't give a thought about what the reviewers say about whether it should be a summer or winter frag. I give the frag a test run through 1 day (3-4 sprays) and if I like it, I buy it.

F Black...opened with a heady aromatic-fruity apple and lavender combo,very very strong lavender.I can't handle it too well.But the dry down was slightly better with the apple falling to the back and spices(pepper,coriander,tonka) started to be the main stars along with the lavender becoming a spicy-sweet aroma.

Lasted about 5-6 hours on my skin,projection about 1-2hrs.The opening was killer for me but the dry down was slightly okay.
Honestly,it's totally forgettable.

A friend uses F by Ferragamo.Almost similar just a lil more tart with the apple.

Nice job dude, great to see some Singaporeans get in on the reviewing game. Just a comment, maybe you'd wanna do the reviews in colour so viewers can see the bottle better? Just a thought.

I did thought of doing in color but I like the whole film-noir style.You know like those B&W interviews?LOL.I added the image of the frag I reviewed at the end so that the viewers know what and how it looks like.

They seem to like fresher stuff but I've had luck with DHI and La Nuit De L'homme.
