and if it's not battery issue, it's wifi or speaker issues! MIC tablet is def not for someone who needs to rely on it for work or important usage, more for fun and games

actually at those prices to buy from overseas, isnt it better to pick up say a tablet at $200-300 locally?

my friend just bought a 7" huawei mediapad 3G+wifi for her kid from Fairprice Xtra AMK at $200+ and it looks good and seems fast and responsive. can use CC to pay and got discounts some more haha

sometimes there's no choice. the market here is too small and many tablets never make it here. for eg i was looking for an 8"-9" tablet with 1920x1200 resol but couldn't find any in Singapore even amongst the branded tablets. in the end, i got a Pipo M7 Pro via a Taobao agent.

Hey guys, is the yuandao mini or pipo u8 better? I know that the mini have got wifi and battery issues rite? how about the u8?

My Mini 1 don't have wifi and battery issues. Better than my other MIC Tablets in these areas. May be u should check out newer MIC like Teclast running on Atom. Performance sound very cool.

Anyone sent the tablet back to China for repair?

I bought my Yuandao Mini One 2 months ago and dead few days back.
I transfer movies file from my PC to the tablet and halfway transferring, the screen just black off.
Reset the button cant get it alive.
Try to connect to PC using method of pressing - volume button and power start button then usb cable also wont work.

Yes, I send my N90FHD back to Yuandao 12 weeks ago and it never arrived there - was lost by ChinaPost. Singpost will compensate with app $60,--!
Also note that Yuandao only returns to local Chinese address, so you need to use VPost or similar.

For your MiniOne try to press Power for 30 sec or so and with USB connected see if there is any sign of life when you switch on again, this helped me several times ...

Thanks for advice, bro.
I'm ordering extra batt and while waiting for the batt will try any other methods to see whether can bring it alive again.

looking to buy the Pipo M9 Pro with 3 G from

http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?sp...ipo+m9+3g&rn=66b6f45706dcbd09edbf18b297361b87

anyone here using it? reviews?

I'm interested in the Pipo M9 Pro (1920*1200 and 32GB) as well. Anyone knows if it is available for sale anywhere in Singapore?

I think M9 Pro has full HD as well.

Has anyone tried ordering via the above link to the Chinese website? What are the different purchase options safe for black or white color? Free shipping right?

The reason people buy mic tablets is becos for the price they r paying, those standard tablets don't cum with the specs they want..ie quad core, 2gig, fhd etc etc
