Higher than 760 would be 770 which is nearly double the price... For 7850 and above, it would be 7950 or 7970, although it can be purchased at a cheaper price from amazon.

How about Coolmaster?

You can consider the new N200/400/600 frm CM, or their CM690 III. but i generally dun like their design.. 2 much mesh will introduce dust. Go watch unboixng youtube videos on a general feel of the case. try linustechtips.

Isnt the Corsair Carbide S 300R better than the Corsair 350D ? And cheaper?

For the type of games you want to play, it does not require high end gpu. The cpu and mobo is also fine since it wun affect gaming. That extra money can be channelled to a new monitor or getting a 128gb ssd for OS, impt applications, 1-2 games or just save it.

You can follow Royfrosty recommendation.

Average 770 price is $600 and above... Cheapest would be leadtek which is priced at $588 or something... If you are planning to play bf4 with ultra and no AA, then get a 770.. otherwise, stick with 760 for the type of games that you mentioned you are playing..

If you do get 770, you cant get the bundle for gpu+psu. But you can get the FSP raider 550w or seasonic m12ii 550w, whichever is cheaper.

For keyboard, depends on whether you wan full size of TKL, which does not have the numpad on the right. You can go to x-treme solutions to take a look. They have a wide range.

As for speakers, depend on your budget, table size and the sound that you are aiming for. For $100+, can get Swans M10. For $250, can get Swans Gt-1000 that is said to be designed for gaming. Above $300, can get corsair sp2500, m50w, aego m and a lot more.

Thanks for the great advise. Based on the recommended configuration for my CPU, do I still need to include a sound card? Thought of getting the Creative T3 or Swan M50-W speakers (find it a bit too bulky). Thanks.

No need sound card. Just a normal speakers will do. Not unless you have golden ears, or some specific recording purposes then yes you might need it. Else just the normal sound card will be fine.

Thanks Roy! Assembled my CPU based on your advise at Tradepac yesterday. Included a Silicon Power SSD 120G V60, upgraded a Seasonic 620W S12II Bronze Power Supply and Corsair 350D casing. Total damage $1200. Enjoying it now!
