Will you still be getting the S View Cover? How's your verdict for neo hybrid? What screen protector did you use for your note 3?

I was actually contemplating whether to get S view cover or neo hybrid. Because S view cover is classy and has the sleep/ wake feature. This is actually my 1st time spending money and so much on phone accessories.

I have both covers on different note 3. The problem with the S view cover is the cover not able to close fully and depending on how you use , eg. flipping the cover behind the back case, the elastic behaviour determines how fast the cover is able to return to the screen flatly. Very irritating when in a meeting u try to keep pressing the cover down when placed on the table after using it. Only way is to put the phone face down with the flip cover at the bottom. To me it is a design failure.
As for the neo hybrid, grip is good and even though there is no wake/sleep function like the S view but pressing the power button serves the same purpose, in fact faster response because you no need to wait for the flip cover to close properly.

I'm using the black S view cover. Imo it's very functional and practical. Can use camera albeit at lower resolution. Best of all, it protects the whole 5.7" screen. For big phones, protecting the screen is more important than the sides. Not too sure why people bitching about cover cannot close properly. It is to be expected! The case is not the Spigen's armour view which has a locking latch. Even then, I just put face down to close the front cover. No problem. On top of that, I'm also using the sgp tempered glass. No issues of closing.

Same here, after see the added features of the new S View flip, I'm interested to try, last time the S4 one like nothing much. Just gotten mine but abit swaying off....

I tink it must have ability to reply sms or call people directly from it then it will be
The main reason I like S View Cover is the elegance and sleep/ wake feature. So that the home button on the note 3 won't be disfunction so soon. The rest of the feature are just bonus.

Hmmm maybe I should give it a try first. Any issues with the chrome sides while using the s view? Does it get scratched?

You sure it is expected that such case cover is designed not to close properly? That is why many leather or thicker cases have locking device to ensure the case works as intended. Putting face down using S view cover defeats its purpose of having the S view window in the first place. The window is for notification purpose and what is the use of it not visible to user. It is simply a design failure due to poor pre production testing.

Just use a penknife to shave away the usb cable plastic head until it fits through the case opening.

Just gotten my neo hybrid metal slate. What I can say is I don't really like it. It adds weight and overall bulk. Didn't expect it to make be so Mega.

Not saying put face down all the time la.. That'd be silly. You still have sound notification.. You can still press power button to check the s window periodically. No big deal.. Is there any perfect product?

If Neo Hybrid adds bulk, I think cases like otterbox and UAG will be worse..

The point is, you can't have a slim case and yet have sufficient protection for your phone. Gotta pick one. Or maybe have one of each type to suit different circumstances. Haha

True. I think I am not used to having case for my phone. In the past, my phones(iPhone) are always naked except for screen protector. Shall monitor it for the next few days.

Jus bought the metal slate with my white note 2.. Not a bad combination I shall say. I was complementing between this and the silver slate. Silver looks not bad also. Just that the metal looks better
