I hate to repeat this again and again and again.
Sequential speeds are worthless. Your usb bus will most likely limit you to about ~25MB/s, that's the kind of read speed you will get if you read files from the phone. Writing to the phone from the PC is very unlikely to exceed ~15MB/s, provided you do a sequential write.

Within the phone, the files are scattered everywhere. Unless you are reading/writing a chunk of a single file, e.g. reading a HD video, or recording a 4K video, having high sequential read/write speeds are worthless. Even so, a Class 4 card can playback a HD video without lag. The camera doesn't take photos in raw format thus the file size is still relatively small (except in burst mode).

Showing people how fast these cards perform sequentially is very much useless since they are all usually very much slower when accessing random locations, which are more akin to real-world usage. You are better off getting spending your money on the cheapest 64gb card from a distro with a good rma process.

Just sharing that's all. Didnt mean to mislead anyone though.

And, has anyone tried the 4-5.5inch Universal Vehicle Dock on the note 3? p2o selling $39. Looking for car adaptor to charge the note 3 too, any recommendations?

Nah it's alright. A lot of people have that misconception. Just trying to bring out more accurate facts so that consumers don't get suckered in by all that marketing bollocks.

Like I said, it's more important to get a card that fits within your budget and has a good distro that handles RMA nicely.

Of course, if you have the money to burn, by all means go for the higher cards, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, just that you are likely wasting money on those speed claims which you will not benefit from.

Those who have been using Samsung probably knows that Samsung has this weird habit of killing SD cards... based on feedback gathered, those on Class 6 and below don't get it, those on Class 10 and above appears to get it more frequently.... but again, it's all luck, since no one has been able to correctly pinpoint the problem or brand. This is why it is more important to get cards from a good distro which are efficient with their RMA process.

For those who believe the myth that Samsung cards are better(as in they won't die off that easily, speed wise they are the clear winners), do ask Samsung on what is their stance on warranty and claims for their SD Cards, since there are alot of parallel imports locally.

Choi! Up till now none of my SD card died yet. Migrated my microSD from S1 to s2 and using it for 2.5 years without issue. Hope i won't kenna lol

I bought the 1M from him minus the charger.. trustworthy seller as it was out of stock...i prepaid for the cable on the basis of trust and he shipped out 2 days after he got his stock... Bought it for S$12.90....

Now i only use my microSD for taking photos and videos and back up to my files so i guess technically i hardly touch it for daily use unless the phone has been writing to it for some reason
