Bad corporate pan support

Hi,

I am a business owner and just set up my office. I have applied for a business plan, submitting the form via email on 30 September. Before the sales was made, I told Don and John that my area's BroadBand on Mobile for SuckHub sucks, so would like them to make provision to get my internet up asap, pending signing the lease to my office. They say they will arrange. But when I signed and apply, John says next available date was 14 Oct. First commitment not fulfilled.
Then after submission, I keep asking for a date when the installation will come. John didn't respond until I explode in the email, then Don can and help arrange for the site visit. After that, he did chase open net and promised an update last week. Until now, after two emails, no respond again.
Its almost 1 month since the application and the installation has not happened. I'm holding a gamer plan, and a static IP. I won't hesitate spreading the news of lousy my republic service to all my friends and business contacts if installation is not done by end of this month. And I will switch provider, and will refuse to pay the open net appointment because of your lapse of service. I won't hesitate to log a complain to IDA as well.
For Your IMMEDIATE ACTION please!

Hi kitkai,

I am the IT Manager for a local company and same as you, I just signed up Myrepublic Business plan for my company due to its low pricing.
My first few emails and phone calls went unattended and the sales guy said he has accident so could not get back to me. Then he arranged for OpenNet to come down for installation and a slight delay there also before OpenNet can come down.
On that day, the person who came down said he is the cabling guy, that is, he laid cable only and it is another group who will patch the exchange point and the terminal point. I thought the other group will come on the same day but no, they did not come.
It was after a few days after I contact MR then they chased after OpenNet. Finally when everything was ready, they promised to send engineer the next day to come down and activate the internet for us. Guess what, the engineer never came and when I asked the sales guy, it was until the next day then he replied there is a system glitch and the engineer did not received the assignment!? Thus, the engineer came the next working day. Now that everything is up, i do a ping test and found that it is worse than my previous provider. Was very disappointed but will see what happen when I rolled out company wide.

1) Did you insist OpenNet to give you the signal reading? More than often, it is the loss of signal / bangala from OpenNet aka Singtel (Who owns a third of it's share + OpenNet bangala used ladders with Singtel logo when they do TP installation on my house this year September) never do their job properly.

2) Is the speed acceptable even though noted that ping is not up to your expectation and needs MR to help you on that.

How horrible are your billing systems MyRepublic? Seriously, charging a customer's debit card account instead of the giro account that has been setup and successfully deducted from for billing purposes, not ONCE BUT THREE TIMES?

The only reason you guys got my card details was because you didn't allow people to pay for router upgrades with nets OR EVEN cash when they signed up at your promo booths during IT fairs.

So people/companies make mistakes, and I'll let the first time slide, but I called in straight after asking them to remove my card details and check if there was any problems with the giro, which there shouldn't be since you guys made THREE SUCCESSFUL DEDUCTIONS from when I first signed up on Sep 12, Oct 12 and Nov 12 before deciding to bill the other account in Dec all of a sudden.

But I know humans are stupid myself included, and I'm prone to making a lot of mistakes myself as well, so for the second time when you guys DOUBLE BILLED ME, once on my giro account and another on my card account for the SAME MONTH, I thought I'll try and be understanding especially since your CSO called me first and notified me before it started showing on my bank statements.

Once again I kindly asked that your company remove the card from your billing systems and use the giro account which I've so nicely setup for you guys to take money from me. Your CSO assured me that they'll do so and that you guys won't be billing my card again. This was in early 2013.

Come October, imagine my surprise when I check my statements again and see MyRepublic there, billing my card once again for the third time.

What is wrong with how you work out bills MyRepublic? I understand that I have to pay you guys for services and I have never once not paid up or was late, all I want is that you guys keep your hands to that one account that I have authorized you to bill me from. Why does this keep happening? Please I'm sick of calling your customer service and waiting only to have no one pick up my call, someone tell me how MyRepublic is going to solve this stupid yet simple issue.

And to top it off I'm paying 59.00 a month for the pure plan, which I now find out is more than what current gamer plan owners are paying, and I'm BOUND BY CONTRACT, great way to treat your early adopters.

giving credit where credit is due.

MR CSO called me to help me reset the router and set channel to 9. speed has gone up to 40mbps now. still not very happy with that speed but i guess it will have to do.

still dont understand how my friend's 5 room flat has a faster speed on wireless than i do in a smaller house. :/

coincidentally i saw your comment while still on the phone with the cso and asked her if i can upgrade to the gamer plan since i was on the same plan as u (pure plan @ $59/month) and she informed me that the gamer price of $58.88 is a promo price and if i wanted gamer, i will need to pay normal price of $70++ (can't recall).

this is because i signed up with the 5 months free promo back then and i cannot upgrade to another promo which is fair enough. however, i must say the marketing team needs to clearly state that this is a new sign up promo price if that is the way it was supposed to work. or u will get hordes of disgruntled customers wondering why we are paying so much for a pure plan when gamer plans are at $58.88 a pop.

It depends on how u see it, I am paying the same as you also and I got 5 months free plus free installation. So this works out to be:

($59X24)-($59X5)-$128=$993
$993 spread over 24months=~$42

Still higher than the current Pure dudes signed up at $38.88...but well...just a few bucks, not much hurt.

Also I am not sure whether you know it or not or u signed up after that promotion, cos when they first introduced 150mbps plans they allowed existing customers on contract to upgrade to it (Pure HD) at $48 per month provided we sign another 24 months with them.

So actually no, they didn't treat early adopters badly, at least what I feel. :s13:

Can i get your customer ID so i can run a check on your account?
