Just saw the first transaction posted to my maybank cc

This is for 2x 16gb. So previous estimations on exchange rate seem to be way off as I was using Google to convert the exchange rate.

Based on the rate u got average 32gb model will cost around 584-590... Before tax and shipping factor in... >.<

anyone got ways to get the non north america set so that the LTE will work on SG ? I just email them about it on the nexus Non north america set

The Nexus 5 version you receive when you order a Nexus 5 is determined by the country you are ordering the device in. There is no way to get around this when making your purchase through Google Play.

If you order a Nexus 5 in North America your device will work with these bandwidths:

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
CDMA: Band Class: 0/1/10
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/17/19/25/26/41

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8
LTE: Bands: 1/3/5/7/8/20

To clarify, the address that is delivered to determines it , if you have a Nexus 5 delivered to your friend in North America he will receive a North American Nexus 5

Is the whole content from google? Seems contradicting? Assuming can be done, what if I order in US playstore and deliver to somewhere else that support rest of the world variants?

Yah seems really way off. I used various banks and google currency exchange, all about $49x + to $50x only.

If you guys haven't got your screen protectors, you might be interested in getting one from XtremeGuard. Currently they have an 80% promotion going on.

Coupon Code: SPOOK80 (80% discount limited to 15 pieces per order)

I went through their shipping options:

  • USPS International Shipping ($5.87)
  • USPS International Priority Shipping ($23.99) (6-10 Days)
  • USPS International Express Shipping ($43.99) (4-5 Days)

If you calculate, the total protection option comes up to $2.20 after discount (originally $10.99) excluding shipping. 15 pieces comes up to $32.97. With the USPS International Priority Shipping option, totals up to $56.96; about $3.80 or SGD 5 per person.

I wonder why do you need screen protection when this is Gorilla Glass 2 screen?:s22:

Hi guys. Just wondering what CC did you guys used to order the N5. I've used my Standard Charted CC, but have yet to receive the confirmation order email.
The 48 hours period is over for me. Order still on pending status and used Standard Chartered credit card.

I wonder should i just cancel the order and re-order using a different credit card..............

None of the countries mail to SG. You got to use forwarder. Comgateway is only for US. So if you order from japan, use vpost or tenso.
