If so, would be a good alternative to DBS Woman's right? I'm currently using DBS Woman's for air ticket purchases but the high redemption rate of 10K DBS points for 20 KF Miles is abit too high for me....

NO. Online spend in SGD$ does not get 10x UNI$, no matter how much you spend.

If you want to get more DBS points, use DBS Woman's card to top up M1 FEVO prepaid mastercard every month ( so that your spendind on DBS WMC is up to $2k ). This will be eligible for 10x DBS points. Use the M1 FEVO prepaid mastercard for all your other purchases at shops / restaurants / petrol / purchases / shopping / groceries .

Each year you can have 48K DBS points = 96K miles. No redemption problem.

You are confused. 0.8% is only for local currency charged in non-local locations or websites. It has absolutely nothing to do with foreign currency

Anyone tried using PayPal to say, pay for eBay. Did you manage to get the 5% rebate? Is it in the form of UNI$? I have the card but not sure how it works....

It is in the form of UNI$ which work like other UOB cards. You get 10x UNI$ for every $5 in foreign currency spend. It doesn't matter where you spend it on, as long as foreign currency then you will get the UNI$. You can use 2000UNI$ to redeem for $50 credit so effectively its 5% rebate.

Take note of the minimum SGD$1k spend in forign curreny equivalent per statement period to qualify for the 10x UNI$ / 5% rebate.

Well if they have picked up on that, I fear that topping up prepaid cards with UOB PPV may be the next on the line to be axed. Obviously they are quite proactive and keep tabs on their UNI$ system.
