Hi guys, I recently built my new rig from pcthemes less than a month ago. Just moments ago I heard the sound of electricity and smelt smoke in the air. I left my pc on but when I got to it it was off.
Anyone can help me diagnose what's wrong? If so what should I do? ><

from the way you say, should be the power Supply that is bad.

did they build the PC for you?, if so you can bring back and ask them change the Power Supply for you.

if not, you can take out the PSU to service center and exchange a new one

PSU spoilt will surely change new one for you de. Hope your PSU doesn't affect the other hardware when it goes in smoke. Quite bad for the motherboard and other components. Abit scare to buy seasonic PSU liao.

Other parts look fine. The psu if burnt can't warranty apparently. How do I tell if it's burnt? Can it be seen externally?

Is your pc covered with things or in a warm evironment? Anything below the chassis?

It's not covered by anything. Air con was on at that time. There are two tables beside the chassis, one at each side. Approx 20 cm from the back to the wall
