I'm building a rig mainly for streaming videos, programming, backtesting, viewing charts & trading. Speed & latency takes priority.
After researching alot & getting advice from friends & experienced forumers here (thanks guys), I've decided on my setup.
Any final advice?
1) AsRock B85M Pro 4 + i5-4570 = $355 (supports 2 monitors)
2) 2* 8gb Kingston PC3-1600 DDR3 = $186
3) WD 1 tb Sata 3 = $78
4) Powercolor 7750 2gb Eyefinity OR Sapphire 7770 GHz edition (supports 4 monitors) = $227
5) Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit = $115
6) Crucial M500 120gb OR Samsung 840 EVO (buy from amazon) = $130
7) Reuse: Standard ATX plastic case
8) Reuse: DVD-RW drive
9) Reuse: front bay card reader
10) Reuse: coolermaster 400W PSU (Assuming Thermaltake Power Supply Calculator is reliable, 400W is just enough); but if not enough power, will buy FSP 550W 80 + silver = $85
Total = $1181
Question: Do I need to get addition fans given that my CPU will be on maximum power state most of the time?
