Leave the ram management to Android. The way Android works is that unused ram is wasted ram. Ideally you'd want all your frequently used apps to stay in ram so that there's no delay in opening them up. The Note 2 has 1 gb less ram and will therefore clear apps out from its ram more frequently, so it will of course use less ram on average. Even Windows manages ram like that these days, unlike the early XP days where the goal was to have as much free ram as possible.
Yup, the Android OS in Note 3 is very efficient. Even though it keeps stuff in the RAM, it clears pretty fast to let other apps in too.
just curious but wouldnt this cost power consumption to be high? is there any source u guys refer from? im interested to know about the architecture behind it
