Amazon Japan doesn't ship to Tenso. On the second point, I just had one customer being 'found out' after just one book sample download. Others remain undetected for years...

Get it NOW! That's absolutely no sense in waiting... the new version that appears yearly will be better... but I just can't see how it can be better... the PW2 is excellent!

Yes, Amazon.com/myk can unsubscribe to ads. 20 or 30 USD if I'm not wrong.

Happened to me. Cancel the order and reorder, if still not shipped. Should be $139.

The ad version is not a bad thing because there is only one line of very nice ad at the bottom of the main index page, never in the books themselves. Further more, you can get discounts from the ads, so it's all good. I have this version myself.

I actually look forward to the new ad screensavers because they are so nice (the copy and standard of the book ads are really quite high) and they change regularly...

The ad is so useful for paper white. U won't miss out the good deals. Don cancel it.

With ads is cheaper by 20USD... my experience with ads is, it help me to open up to new genes of books.. I also enjoy 0.99 kindle single deal, won't know abt the deal without the ads.

I prefer mine without ads. Reason is I don't connect to wify ever after registration. The same old ugly 'screensaver' and the ad banner become really bothersome after some time.

Also, if you use case that will wake up the PW once you open it, it saves you a second of your life because you don't have to swipe the ad screen to get to the last read page.

True. Makes no sense to me either.

But it seems to make crazy sense to book publishers to dish out distribution rights to select distributors (Amazon not being one of them. Since Amazon can't sell the ebooks to us, they won't sell the ebook reader to us, because the kindle ebook reader itself does not make profits.

So the culprits are the publishers, not Amazon.

It's just region restriction, like what we see in DVDs, or parallel import cars/cameras etc. Amazon only enforces this not because it wants to, but because it needs to (to fulfil their obligations.)

I do everything on one account. That's not the issue. The only issue that's important is the use of a vpn.
